2. Best areas to stay for visiting Malaga

Preferred areas. For a first trip to Malaga, we can take Constitution Square as a point of reference. This is where the city center of Malaga is located.

To avoid. The seaside and the port are not the best places to stay in Malaga: wide roads with a lot of traffic. If you are looking for accommodation by the sea, it is more interesting to go to one of the seaside towns near Malaga.

For a romantic getaway. The ICON Malabar hotel is an excellent place to sleep in Malaga as a couple. Spacious rooms with a refined decoration, and a superb location in the historic center: perfect for visiting Malaga!
